Advertising Standards Authority Challenges
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) had a SharePoint 2010 implementation in use within the business. While the platform had been enhanced to include workflows and other business applications, as a communications platform more work was required. The user experience had not been developed beyond what was Out Of The Box, the look and feel needed work so that the intranet would be inviting to employees.
There was also a requirement to enhance existing communication features such as calendar and polls as the intranet was not being used at all for internal engagement or news. Staff didn’t enjoy interacting with the intranet, so they reverted to their preferred route of emailing documents or sharing files via the ASA network.
